Inside Out Charleston returns October 21 for another night celebrating Charleston from the inside out through food, beverage, music, and community. This month, Tasting.edu presents Bourbon & Bubbles featuring Angel's Envy & Don Luchi Wines, an indulgent autumn bourbon salon with a sparkling twist. Angel Teta, Brand Ambassador for Angel's Envy, joins us in Charleston to lead an inspired exploration of seasonal cocktails featuring Angel's Envy bourbon and Don Luchi Wines. Expect a guided experience centered around Bourbon & Bubbles, with creative cocktails designed to inspire your fall entertaining and impress your guests. Tasting.edu: Bourbon & Bubbles featuring Don Luchi Wines is FREE, but RSVP is required and space is limited. Guests must also have an Inside Out Charleston entry ticket to participate. R3, Inc. celebrates 15 years of service in November. We're using the energy of Inside Out Charleston to give back, with a portion of the evening helping raise funds to support R3's ongoing community work and programming. And for the soundtrack, we're teaming up with Black People Love House Music for a night dedicated to KAYTRANADA. DJ tunes by @DJ_Nor_Way, bringing the house, dance, and feel-good energy all night. Still living on the same farm today, Whitmore has truly taken the time to discover where his center lies, and from that he will not be moved.

Slow Accordion is a brand new instrumental, improvised quartet from Nashville composed of acclaimed guitarist Oliver Wood of The Wood Brothers, far out, grooving bass player, Ted Pecchio (Colonel Bruce Hampton, Doyle Bramhall), magically versatile drummer Mark Raudabaugh (Sierra Hull, Jim Lauderdale, Fred Wesley) and Matt Glassmeyer of New York and Nashville improvised scenes on his own strange Wurlitzer (Meadownoise, Lambchop, Billy Martin, Aqua Teen Hunger Force.) Their first album will be released on Royal Potato Family Records on July 16. The seven-track collection was completely improvised and recorded analog, right down to the tape running out halfway through the closing track. The four friends had no preconceived ideas or concepts beyond coming together to conjure music out of thin air, purely in the present moment. Also, sadly, no accordions will be heard.
